Touched
OMG. Was damn touched reading one of the holiday assignments from my P6 class.
I was featured in Javier's assignment. I dunno what to say. It was simple, and he expressed his opinion in a non-exaggerated manner. I neva expected my students to think of me that way just because I went for that P6 edventure camp with them in Pahang (Malaysia). To me, it was simply a fun and enjoyable trip amidst the many mosquito bites. To him (or them maybe?), I became an angel? Just because I'd decided to stop screaming at them for once.

Curry flavour? Curry favour? Carry favour? Gao Por? Whatever you call it. No, he's not. Didn't felt that way at all while reading it. Shall post it somewhere here or in my class portal after I marked the work. Believe me, after screaming at a bunch of 100 over kids in a morning, this certainly changed my day into a better one. I still wished that I was described in another (better) way though. No, you dunwan to know how I was described in terms of appearance. (><)

Kids are easily contended species. If only adults are like them. Sounds like you are a monster in their eyes. Once you stopped scolding, you became an angel.
I do feel kids are more direct in their feelings... at least, they will not try to phrase sarcastic remarks in a nice way... umm. And thats good for you.
Look forward to reading this script.
Yeah, its true that they are more honest with their feelings, truthful and direct too. (If they ever lie, you can see right through immediately. hahaha)
That's why my class of P6 are fighting almost every second.
Their motto: Like, like. Dun like, go die.
Sometimes wished adults can behave like these kids do... but... if I have to scream at adults like I do with these kids... -.-"
"Like, like. Dun like, go die."
Sounds like some ah bengs or ah lians slogon.
If you dip in black ink, you will soon be black. So i foresee that one day, you would start to use this on us too... ops
BUUUT, adults that behaves like kids are condemned for being "childish". Kids that behave like adults are praised for being "matured". How then can adults behave like them... Its such an unfair world.
dunno. see my students fighting everyday. see till numb. so numb that I am starting to be void of feelings to a certain extent.
if u saw yur students figting wad wil u do jus stare at them ??
